On Friday, July 07, 2023, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Comander, Officers and crew members of the “Limnos” Frigate F-451, as well as Students of the Permanent Naval Officers School to the premises of our Museum. At the entrance they were welcomed by the Chairman of the Museum Commodore (Eng.) Emm. Petrakis HN ret. Afterwards, a tour and guided tour of the Museum premises took place. The officers and the students had the opportunity to see the museum’s permanent exhibition, which includes 3.500 exhibits such as historical relics, ship models, various naval instruments, objects recovered from the seabed, paintings, maps, photographic material, etc. .a. Finally, they also visited our Museum’s workshop, where they were informed about the construction of large-scale handmade ship models from primary materials, as well as the maintenance of the existing exhibits. At the end of the visit, the ceremonial exchange of gifts took place.
