The Region of Crete, as part of the 5th Festival of Crete – 2025, in co-organization with the Municipality of Chania, with the support of the Maritime Museum of Crete, and under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and the Ephorate of Antiquities of Chania, presents the Piano & Voice Recital featuring Stefanos Korkolis and Sofia Manousaki.
“100 Minutes” – Music by Mikis

As stated in a handwritten and signed note by the legendary Greek composer Mikis Theodorakis, Stefanos Korkolis is his official ambassador of music, representing his work to both Greek and international audiences.
The songs will be performed by Sofia Manousaki, a top Greek vocalist of the younger generation with Cretan roots. At the age of 19, she sang works by Theodorakis at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus and collaborated with him multiple times. On stage, he referred to her as “a revelation of seismic proportions who will make history.”
On the occasion of the declaration of 2025 as the Year of Mikis Theodorakis by the Ministry of Culture, internationally acclaimed composer and one of the greatest piano soloists of all time, Stefanos Korkolis, presents a 100-minute musical program showcasing the most important compositions by the multi-awarded Greek creator. The recital invites the audience on a musical journey interwoven with some of the most significant moments of Modern Greek History.
