Members of the Maritime Museum of Crete currently numbering about 500 people who have a common element:
- The preservation and dissemination of the Navy Naval spirit and tradition to new generations as a source of national greatness and as a pillar of support for national independence and economy.
- Awareness of the need to protect the marine environment, through acquaintance with it and awareness of ongoing destruction of the reckless exploitation of man
- The cultivation of love for the marine element as a source of life and national greatness.

Members enhance the Museum:

• Contributing to the goals of making donations, bequests and voluntary work.
• Actively participating in its activities.

Members of the museum:

• Accept invitations to Museum events
• Participate in the programs of the Museum
• 10% discount on sale items
• Access to the Museum's Library
• Right to vote in elections of the Board

To register a new member application is required to be signed by two members and include a statement that the person concerned accepts the constitution and purposes of the Association. The application is approved by decision of the Board
